CELEBRATING WORLD HERITAGE DAY
A special assembly was conducted by the students of Class VIII B on the
occasion of WORLD HERITAGE DAY Keeping in mind the theme 'Heritage and Culture'
.
The assembly began by seeking the blessings of the Almighty through
morning prayer, followed by a beautiful thought and news. Students also
delivered a talk on World Heritage Day, highlighting upon its history,
relevance and importance.
To convey the message in a more realistic and effective manner, the
students showcased the SEVEN WONDERS OF THE WORLD by using creative props. A
mesmerizing dance performance by the girls in graceful outfits was also
presented. The assembly was an amalgam of entertainment and information which
truly spread the message to preserve monuments and heritage sites.
Officiating Principal, Ms. Arpita Acharya and Middle Wing Incharge, Ms.
Suneeta Kaul complimented the efforts put in by every student and also the
contribution of teachers for this insightful assembly. She also motivated the
students to realize the importance of the message conveyed to them and to take
a pledge to preserve our culture and heritage.
