MOCK FIRE EVACUATION
DRILL AT BBPS
To educate and train the students for
unforeseen emergencies like fire
or any natural calamity, Blue Bells Public School conducted a mock Fire
Evacuation Drill on July 29, 2022. The drill was organized to check the readiness
of the school to face any such emergency and to make the students and
staff aware about the Fire Fighting rescue operation and its procedure.
As soon as the siren sounded, the
students of Classes III to XII were asked to
leave their classes and evacuate the school building. Guided by the teachers,
the students collected in the playground which was the safe zone allocated for them. Following all
the safety measures, the entire Primary, Middle and Senior Wing
classrooms were successfully evacuated within a span of 5-6 minutes.
These mock drills help in meeting the
challenges in adverse situations and in coping with
the situations during the time of natural
and man-made disasters.
