Literacy and use of Digital Tools
Blue Bells
Public School hosted a workshop on Financial Literacy with the aim to sensitize
teachers across the country on basics of financial literacy and use of digital
tools that are relevant in the current scenario. The workshop was attended by
more than 100 teachers from various schools in the city.
Mr. Pankaj Sahijwani, the CBSE resource person explained the importance of financial planning that helps in making growth and expansion programmes which helps in long-run survival of individual. Financial Planning reduces uncertainties with regards to changing market trends which can be faced easily through enough funds.
The session was fruitful and enriching. The teachers
understood how Financial
literacy is an understanding of the skills and knowledge that allows an
individual to make informed and effective decisions with all of their financial
resources. It encompasses budgeting, saving, investing, and includes
anything and everything that deals with money management.
