EARTH DAY CELEBRATED BY THE YOUNG
BRIGADE OF NURSERY TO V
"Earth has always given us every comfort and necessity of life. It
takes care of everyone like a mother and we must also protect it and care for
it in the best way."
This Earth Day, our little planet warriors exhibited their affection and
concern about their invaluable planet in their own little ways.
Students of Classes Nursery-V did various art and craft activities to
create awareness about different ways to heal the planet. A Special Assembly
was conducted by the students of Classes II B to spread the message of
preserving our precious planet. The students presented a melodious song on the
theme ‘Return to Nature’ with a very powerful message that respecting the rules
of nature is the only solution in the long run. A thoughtful poem and a
beautiful dance performance reminded everyone of their duties towards Mother
Earth as responsible citizens. Students presented an engrossing ‘Nukkad Natak’
stating the importance of keeping the environment green and pollution free.
Addressing the students on the occasion, Madam Meenakshi Malhotra,
Primary Wing Leader, encouraged the students to be more responsible towards the
environment and take small steps on regular basis to protect our precious
planet.
