CAMPAIGN AGAINST SINGLE-USE PLASTICS
Blue Bells Public School organised a campaign to create
awareness about the hazard of SUPs (Single Use Plastics) and make everyone more
aware of the ban implemented by the Government against its use. Ms Sunita
Yadav, Deputy Mayor, MCG, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The other
esteemed guests included Mr Brahm Yadav, Councillor, MCG and Mr Kuldeep Hindustani, Brand Ambassador,
Swatch Bharat Abhiyaan.
The event commenced with a warm welcome song after which the
students presented an informative and thought-provoking programme. A PowerPoint
Presentation on SUPs showcased how difficult survival would be for all living
beings if stern action is not taken to save the environment, now. All the
components of the assembly including the street play, dance performance and
song acted as eye-openers for the audience against the use of SUPs.
The guests addressed the students and heartily applauded their
efforts towards the programme. They also acknowledged and appreciated the
efforts of the school in sensitising everyone towards using better alternatives.
The programme ended with a pledge by everyone to never use SUPs in future.
